The results

LTE.app: Multi-network coverage delivered consistent 15–45 Mbps in all major cities. Smart Coach resolved two incidents (APN issue in Athens, carrier switch needed in rural Portugal) without contacting support. Best coverage on Greek islands (Santorini, Mykonos, Crete).

Airalo: Solid performance in Germany and France. Noticeable speed drops in Spain (Barcelona suburbs, ~3 Mbps) and Greece (Thessaloniki old town, dropped to EDGE). Support response: 4–6 hours.

Holafly: "Unlimited" plans throttled to ~512 Kbps in Italy and Greece after moderate daily usage. Fine for messaging; unusable for maps or streaming. No refund for the throttling issue.

Nomad: Good performance in UK, Germany, Netherlands. Weaker in Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic). Limited carrier diversity.

Saily: New entrant with competitive pricing. Coverage gaps in rural Spain and southern Italy. Improving rapidly.

Recommendation
