Step-by-step fixes

1
Check if your eSIM plan is still active in LTE.app
Open LTE.app and check your active plans. If the plan is still listed and valid, you can re-download the QR code and reinstall it. LTE.app keeps your purchase history.
2
Re-scan the QR code
If you still have the original QR code email, you may be able to rescan it on the same or new device. Some providers allow one re-installation — others are single-use. Check LTE.app support for your specific plan.
3
Restore from iCloud backup (iPhone)
When restoring an iPhone from backup, eSIM plans may be restored automatically if your carrier supports it. Go through the device setup process and look for an option to restore eSIM. Not all carriers support this.
4
Transfer to new iPhone using Bluetooth
iPhone Quick Start transfer (when upgrading to a new iPhone) can transfer eSIM automatically if both phones are running iOS 16 or later. Keep both phones close during setup.
5
Contact LTE.app support for reissue
If none of the above works, contact LTE.app support with your order reference. For most plans, we can reissue the QR code once. Data already used cannot be refunded.
6
Use Smart Coach for automatic diagnosis
Open LTE.app and tap Smart Coach. It checks your APN settings, roaming state, and carrier connection automatically — even without mobile data — and walks you through the exact fix for your device and carrier.

Frequently asked questions

Does factory reset delete my eSIM?
Yes. A factory reset erases all eSIM profiles from your device. Before resetting, note your eSIM plan details and contact LTE.app to confirm if the plan can be reinstalled.
Can I transfer my eSIM to a new phone?
This depends on the plan. Some LTE.app plans allow a one-time transfer to a new device. Contact support before your new phone arrives to check eligibility.
