Toggle airplane mode off and on
Enable airplane mode for 10 seconds, then disable it. This forces your phone to re-scan for available networks and is the fix for ~40% of eSIM connectivity issues.

Check data roaming is enabled
Go to Settings → Cellular (iOS) or Settings → Network (Android). Make sure "Data Roaming" is turned on for your eSIM line. This is the most common reason eSIMs work but show no data abroad.

Set the correct eSIM line as active for data
If you have two SIMs (physical + eSIM), go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data and ensure your travel eSIM is selected as the data line, not your home SIM.

Check that the eSIM plan has started
Some plans only activate on first connection to a local carrier (first-use activation). Fully disable your home SIM temporarily to force the eSIM to connect.

Reset network settings
iOS: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset → Reset Network Settings. Android: Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings. This clears stale APN configurations.

Why is my eSIM showing "No Service"?
"No Service" usually means the plan has not started yet, data roaming is off, or the carrier in your area is not covered. Toggle airplane mode, enable data roaming, and restart your device. LTE.app Smart Coach can check your exact carrier and APN settings.
My eSIM shows as installed but has no data. What do I do?
This is almost always a data roaming toggle issue. Go to Settings → Cellular → select your eSIM line → enable Data Roaming. If that does not help, your APN settings may need updating — Smart Coach can fix this automatically.
Can I fix my eSIM without internet access?
