Enable data roaming on the Holafly eSIM line
Settings β Cellular (iOS) or SIM Manager (Samsung) β tap your Holafly eSIM β Data Roaming: On. Holafly's unlimited plans still require this setting β without it, no data passes even if the eSIM is connected.

Check that the plan has activated
Holafly plans activate when you first connect to a local carrier. Make sure you are in a coverage area and that your home SIM is not taking priority for data. Temporarily disable the home SIM to force eSIM activation.

Set Holafly as the active data SIM
iOS: Settings β Cellular β Cellular Data β select Holafly. Android/Samsung: SIM Manager β Data SIM β select Holafly. Without this, your home SIM handles all data traffic instead.

Toggle airplane mode on landing
After arriving at your destination, toggle airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off. Give the phone 60 seconds to register to the local network before checking connectivity.

Try manual carrier selection
If automatic selection fails, manually choose a carrier. iOS: Settings β Cellular β Network Selection β turn off Automatic β select carriers. Try each one listed.
