Step-by-step fixes
1
Warning: eSIM removal is permanent
Deleting an eSIM profile removes it permanently from your device. If the plan is still active, you will need a new QR code to reinstall it. Contact your provider before removing if you have data remaining. LTE.app can reissue QR codes — contact support before deleting.

After removal: make sure your home SIM is active
After removing the eSIM, confirm your physical SIM is set as the active data and voice line. Settings → Cellular (iOS) or SIM Manager (Android) → select your physical SIM as the default.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reinstall an eSIM after deleting it?
Only if you have a valid QR code. Most travel eSIM QR codes are single-use and stop working after first installation. Once deleted, contact your provider for a replacement QR. LTE.app reissues QR codes for active plans at no charge.
Does removing an eSIM cancel my plan?
No. Removing the eSIM profile from your device does not cancel the plan — data continues to be purchased and available. You just cannot access it until you reinstall a new QR. Do not delete unless you intend to change devices or end the plan.
How do I transfer my eSIM to a new phone?
Contact your provider for a new QR code for the new device. On iPhone, iOS migration sometimes transfers eSIM profiles — during device setup, accept the eSIM transfer prompt. LTE.app plans can be reissued for a new device.
